BETRAYAL ?!?! HELPP !?

Ok so my best friend is constantly yelling at me because i talk to a guy that she doesnt like. She doesnt like him because he did something bad to her, but at the time when that happened I wasnt friends with her. I feel like she is controlling me and telling me who to talk to or not. Which she shouldnt, because in my opinion a best friend shouldnt controll or judge who there friend talks to. But I aint going to be mean and not talk to this kid for no reason just cause my friend doesnt like him. But then the thing that is confusing to me is that she talks to him too. So its like why are you pointing the fingers to me when you say hi right back to him. She thinks I betrayed her but I honestly dont think thats betrayal because i didnt do anything wrong. I wouldnt care if she talked to a guy that i didnt like. So please someone tell me what can i do to get her to stop controlling me or DOES ANYONE THINK IM WRONG ?!
