Parking lights not working after cd player install. (dash lights, parking lights, ect)?

I installed a aftermarket cd player and afterwards none of my parking light features will work such as: parking lights front and rear, dash lights, dimmer switch, a/c temp lights ect. I think I know what caused it from research which was connecting the dimmer wires. I checked all my fuses with a contact circuit tester and they all are good however when I try to test if there is power in the dimmer relay socket I get no power according to my tester. Any ideas on a fix?
