What's a fear or loathing of the British Pound Sign (Monetary) called?

I don't know why, but the Pound Sign makes me angry for no particularly good reason at all. The Yen sign, other money names don't bother me, but the pound sign drives me bonkers. Is this a phenomena experienced by others? Does it have a name?
