On the subject of co-sleeping?

MY friend thought it would be nice to co-sleep with her daughter. 11 years later her daughter is still sleeping with her, because she is afraid to sleep alone. So for me, that's what co-sleeping does. It makes children so afraid of their own room, they have to to sleep with mommy. So mommy gets what she wants. I don't think my friend imagined an 11 year old in bed with her though.
