Why are Rangers fans so bitter when the final hasn`t even been played yet?

Is it because they know that even if they win the trophy, there still of play has been so lambasted by every person of high regard in football this season, that the victory will be hoolow. Especially when put up beside the triumph`s Scottish Football has had in previous campaigns.
