Help i am doing the atkins diet?

Don�t get too hung up on the numbers 0.0 carbs and 0.1 carbs means no carbs really. In the first two weeks keep it as low as you can by avoiding the obvious things like bread, pasta, potatoes and anything that has got flour or sugar in it (read the ingredients labels). Atkins says no fruit in the first two weeks, introducing berries later on. Leafy green vegetables should definitely be eaten through out the diet. Watch things like milk and cheese. Sugar free jelly or strawberries with cream make a good dessert after the first couple of weeks. This is a very different way of eating and can be healthy if you don�t get stupid about it. Meat or fish with salad or leafy green vegetables, dressed with olive oil and vinegar is a good natural nurtitous diet in anyone�s book. I kept some ready cooked chicken in the fridge for hunger pangs. That�s the good thing about this diet - there�s no need to go hungry.
